The first South Australian Women’s Keelboat Regatta (SAWKR) was held over the October long weekend in 2022 and was a huge success. Divisions 1 & 2 compete in the gulf waters out from the CYCSA while Division 3 is run by Port Adelaide Sailing Club and is open to trailerable yachts and small keelboats wishing to race in the Port River.
The regatta is open to individuals 14 years and upwards. Each participant registers personally & provides their Australian Sailing number when registering. The early bird participant entry fee is $75 until 30th August and from 31st August the entry fee is $85, full time secondary and tertiary students are $55. There is no fee attached to the boat entry.
